Reduce mealtime stress and anxiety.
After my consultations, parents report feeling less stressed and more confident in how they can approach their child’s feeding difficulties. Please see my testimonials for more parent feedback.
If you’re worried about your child’s eating, drinking, or progression with food, you’re not alone - and you don’t have to work it out by yourself.
I specialise in supporting babies and children with feeding difficulties, helping families understand why feeding feels hard and what will actually help - without pressure, force, or blame.
Investing in professional support now can save months of mealtime stress - and keep your child’s nutrition on track.
Online consultations are available all over the UK and instantly bookable (for children 6 months and over). Home Visits are available within a 2 hour travel distance from the DE4 area.
Fees are reviewed periodically and may be subject to change.
Fussy Eating SOS Phone Call - £50
-
Is your child refusing foods, eating only a small number of things, or turning mealtimes into a daily battle?
This 20-minute Fussy Eating SOS call gives you the chance to speak directly with an experienced paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and get clear, practical advice tailored to your child.
During the call we can talk about:
Food refusal or very limited diets
toddlers who suddenly stop eating foods they used to like
stressful or frustrating mealtimes
concerns about whether your child is eating enough
You’ll leave the call with practical strategies you can start using straight away, and reassurance about the next steps if further support would help.
This call is ideal for parents who want quick guidance and expert advice without committing to a full consultation.
-
The Fussy Eating SOS call is 20 minutes in duration.
We will briefly discuss your concerns and based on the information you provide, I will be able to give you some practical reassurance and advice, or suggest a full consultation if we feel your child’s issues are more urgent or complex.
-
The SOS call is designed for quick guidance on fussy eating, so it isn’t appropriate for children who:
Have swallowing difficulties, cough, or choke during meals
Are fed through a tube (NG or PEG)
Need advice specifically about allergens or breastfeeding
Have a history of prematurity, food allergy, developmental concerns, CMPA, reflux, or ongoing paediatric feeding management.
Have a NICU history or genetic condition.
Have issues with weight loss/gain and growth.
Have repeat chest infections.
If any of these apply, a full feeding consultation will be the best way to get tailored support.
Comprehensive Feeding Consultation - £220
-
Families often come to me because:
They are worried and stressed about their child’s feeding.
They have been told to “wait and see,” but continue to be worried and stressed.
Their child gags, retches, or vomits with certain textures
Their child eats a very limited range of foods
Their child refuses solids or struggles to progress with textures
The whole family finds mealtimes stressful, emotional, or overwhelming
Their child has feeding difficulties alongside reflux, allergies, prematurity, or neurodivergence
If any of this sounds familiar, an assessment can bring clarity, immediately reduce stress, and find a clear way forward.
-
What’s included:
A comprehensive feeding report (worth £80)
A detailed discussion of your child’s feeding history and current concerns
A detailed mealtime audit, looking closely at exactly what your child is eating and drinking across a typical day so we can identify any nutritional gaps, patterns, and opportunities to expand their diet
Review of videos of your child eating (so there’s no pressure on them to perform live)
Identification of the underlying reasons feeding is difficult
Practical, realistic strategies tailored to your child and family
A clear explanation of next steps and support options
Most importantly - My aim is to reduce your anxiety and stress around feeding your child and give you the confidence you need to move forward in a way that is practical and easy.
-
By the end of the session, you will:
Understand why feeding feels hard for your child
Feel more confident about what to do (and what not to do)
Have a plan that fits your child - not a one-size-fits-all approach
Feel reassured that you’re not causing the problem
There is no pressure, force-feeding, or judgement. The session is designed so that you come away feeling less stressed about feeding your child and optimistic about what to do next.
We work at your child’s pace, with respect for their development and emotional safety. -
Initial online zoom consultations are instantly bookable. Online assessments are most suitable for children who have aversive or restricted eating patterns and who have no identified swallowing problems.
Home initial assessment visits are also instantly bookable. Home visits are recommended for children who have dysphagia (swallowing problems) or who are under a paediatrician for their feeding difficulties.
Initial consultations are up to 60 minutes in length and begin with a detailed case history so I can understand your child’s feeding difficulties and background. This is followed by personalised advice and guidance based on the information you provide. You will be provided with a written report once the consultation is complete.
Your child does not need to be present for the online session as long as you can record short videos of your child eating and drinking beforehand. These can be sent securely to my encrypted mobile phone so I can review them as part of the assessment.
Further details will be sent to you upon booking.
For home visits, travel charges will be invoiced separately, based on distance from the DE4 area.
If your child is less than 6 months, I offer home visits only (no online services)
-
Online consultations can be very helpful for many feeding concerns, but they are not suitable for every child. If your child has complex feeding or swallowing needs, including significant dysphagia or medical complexity, an initial face-to-face assessment is usually essential so that I can carry out a safe and thorough evaluation. For this reason, online bookings are not appropriate for these cases. If you feel your child’s needs may be more complex, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss the most appropriate type of appointment.
